Webcasting the popular vote
The accelerated project scheduled demanded an alternative to traditional programming, analysis and selection. And, more importantly, Good Sam wanted it's employees to feel 'heard'. We held a virtual meeting and gathered feedback. After several presentations of workstation typicals, we put it in front of the mass audience and held a popular vote. We amazingly and quickly narrowed the selection to three workstation typicals. We brought the findings to management and it went out to bid.
